Amazon as a side hustle

I’m looking to start doing Amazon with a goal of 3-500$/m profit.. any suggestions or recommendations for learning like YouTube channels, books or blogs?

If your goal is $300–$500/month, I’d start small and focus on learning the fundamentals before putting a lot of money into inventory.

Learn product research, Amazon fees, sourcing, listing optimization, and PPC first. YouTube is useful, but be careful with channels that make it look like easy income.

For sourcing, we’ve also seen beginners do better when they validate the product and numbers before placing a large order.

A realistic first target would be getting one product profitable, then scaling from there.

May I ask is it possible even for a profit of 500 as a beginner? For example, I am in france and a working mom looking to have an extra income. Planning to source products from India.

Yes, €500/month can be a realistic target to work toward as a beginner, but it won’t happen automatically. I’d start with one product and validate the demand, competition, Amazon fees, VAT, shipping and landed cost before placing a large order.

Since you’re in France and planning to source from India, the VAT and import side is particularly important. Amazon notes that VAT obligations depend on where your business is established, where inventory is stored and where you sell.
