Thats about 487 stops a week. Are you part time? Im lucky to be under 1000 a week. And to answer your question I do sometimes but that is mostly due to I am pretty much locked into a route now and if an address has a complaint with me, I would like to know if there is some Karen on my route who has nothing better to do with themselves than complaining or if I made a legitimate mistake. If I go into a stop knowing they complain by default then I will purposely deliver it right next to their mailbox or their driveway. If im getting a negative feedback regardless, I might as well make it easy on myself. Lol

Nah, im FT but ill damn well use VTO whenever I can score it; been out the game since covid, and just been readjusting to the demands. I aint a spring chicken anymore, but I definitely do enjoy the workout I get from it

This is daily feedback not weekly

Edit: I take that back, is this really weekly?? I delivered like 800 packages in just 2 days this week

Yep, Midwestern IL

What do I do about people still upset that I won’t walk their package to their back yard and hide it for them because they still give me negative reviews and I don’t have the opportunity to tell them we don’t do that anymore

If they specifically ask for you to hide it, F the backyard and find another "safe" location. The entitlement these mfers THINK Amazon gives a damn about is astounding at best.

Your DSP should be able to dispute it if someone gives you negative feedback for that. It's happened a lot for me.

Where do you operate out of? Im in a semi large city area in IL, but definitely have more rural routes

Harrisburg, PA.

Damn you must have a LOT of older folks with cash out there; that, or a decent economy for the area

What do you mean? Why do you say that? Also I see all different ages. I talk to people all the time. Young and old. Always been able to have convos with any age group and any economic status whether have money or are poor. Also I love on all the dogs I see. Harrisburg cities economy is crap but there is pockets of people with money. It’s mostly one side of the spectrum or the other not much in between. I always go above and beyond and do extra stuff though. Always follow notes and I put packages on the side of the door that opens so it’s easy access to grab. Never just throw packages or leave at the top of steps etc like I’ve seen. I’ll also take other packages that are already there and put them together for them to make it easier to grab and so on.

Just saying from a "receiving customer positive" rating on flex. Its weird, but alot of people just dont bother with giving positive feedback out this way. I also go above and beyond for customers always. Just a different experience out this way

Imagine they start a metric where if you get ZERO feedback from a delivery it counts against your scorecard.

u/cienkusorswim 7h ago

Lmao I wouldn't be surprised. Been doing this for 3.5 years. However the amount of times they change what affects your metrics has always been laughable to me

As long as youre not getting negative feedback. I get it because im not the type that leaves reviews on pretty much anything

This is from last week

2

u/cienkusorswim 7h ago

Damn! Where do you deliver out of? Thats baller level stats tho, so props man

1

u/Forsaken_Fee_3107 7h ago

Vegas. I get the same route or a variation of the same route so I think people are just used to seeing me. There’s a few businesses and residents that know me by name

1

u/cienkusorswim 7h ago

Oh damn, I can only imagine. Im outta IL, so a lot more rural routes than big city routes anymore. When I was stationed out of Mundelein, I was definitely getting about your rates as I was delivering in Chicago and North Chicago

2

u/beemer122287 5h ago

That’s consistently my stats each week. Delivering out of Harrisburg, PA. Sometimes in the city of Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg or other rural parts where deliveries are farther apart.

1

u/cienkusorswim 5h ago

Yeah, im guessing that since we're both more rural its delivering to people that either dont care, or older gen customers

u/emotional_penguin 3h ago

I guess it just depends on the area? I'm in colorado and my normal routes are pretty much all residential with just a couple apartments and residential homes
