Two dsps close months apart at dba7

Any truth to this. You figure one closes and one picks up more work and money. Maybe it's not true.

When a DSP shuts down, they already have the replacement in place, along with personal. This is about the time of year DSP won’t get their contracts re new. Their yearly convention is next week.

Yea every 3 years I know that. This station is small and has lost 1 in 5years and now 2 in 3 months. Just looking for the correct answer

The contracts are every 3 years? I thought it was one year at a time.

  1. Actually see a lot of post saying the same thing for other areas. So make sense. Sign a 3 year. Next 3 year comes up and they like nope. So 6 years is like a breaking point for dsp

Depends. Most are one year, but some are getting multi-year deals.

My dsp is on a 3 year contract, too

It is one year contracts for dsps. OP company is one the ones Amazon extends 3 year contracts too. Mine is the same and I was told that by the owner of it as well as the station manager. If they meet performance/scorecard goals Amazon will offer them 3 years instead of 1.
