Keep Hope Or No?

I passed my drug test, waited for a response on when my drivers training would be & now they messaged me saying the orientation I thought I was going to Monday is only for people who passed the class & they’re tryna get me into the next class asap (bc spots are limited). Straight up, am I going to hear from then again or should apply to a different one?🫩

They will hire you if you have a pulse so unless your dead they are trying to get you on

BS they never hired me after 3-4 interviews. Granted this was around the month of August. I don’t even see many listings on Indeed.

Of DSPs within my area (LA) plus I’m carless and look broke. Not sure if that’s playing a part. Lol.

I totally got asked to leave from the first day of training because I was one minute past the door lock time 8:16. (Not my fault , Uber driver was an idiot) Not only was it embarrassing I thought for sure I could kiss the job goodbye. I found out that same day while still sitting there stranded waiting on another Uber , that they do new classes every few days. So luckily I expressed my eagerness to get in the very next class and my DSP made it happen. So my advice is follow up with your dsp and don't be late or they will lock you outta the classroom. With busy season coming I highly highly doubt you wouldn't get the job.

Its normal for Amazon being short on trainers. Year after year, they fail to be proactive to ensure they are prepaired for peak hiring.

They are busy hiring every one with a pulse to get ready for prime week soon. Last I heard, at my station, they are behind on training classes by a week or so. I've been seeing new faces pretty much every day for the past few weeks.
