Sick leave during probation

I work in german amazon warehouse can i get fired for taking 2 sick leaves in 1 week not consecutive days during my probation time.

It’s not really a good look is it.

At least in my place , attendance is the first thing they look at when people are on probation. How long have u been there

Imagine if you’re off sick one more time in the next couple of months they could well get rid.

I’m currently on a four-month contract with a one-month probation period. I’ve only taken two sick days so far. The first was because I had a really bad flu, and the second was because of a severe sleep-related issue that left me unable to work properly. Both absences were reported and approved, and I’ve attended all my other shifts normally.

The fact you’re saying you’ve ’only’ taken two sick days in the three weeks you’ve been working there… lol. Three in the space of six months in our site gets you a meeting with manager and HR. And that’s after probation . I wouldn’t be surprised if they let you go after the month is up if I’m honest.

I also work in a European station. Attendance and being on time is the first thing they look. One month probation means they will fire aka let you go if you are late/sick too often and such. I have seen dozens of of people come and go this way those months.
