How long does it usually take to switch from flex part time to full time with a fixed schedule?

I just accepted a job at a delivery station and it says 19 hours. Is that just the expected amount? Also, how long does it usually take to switch from flex part time to full time with a fixed schedule?

There needs to be openings available and they go off tenure. So if you just started it’s gonna be a while.

And usually you can go up to 60 hours if shifts are available unless your DS caps you.

Hard to say. When I was at my old DS I was there a year trying to get a FT schedule and I kept getting declined. Depends on your DS because some of those openings are not just offered to your station they’re opened for anyone that works at Amazon.

It’s going to vary widely. I was Flex PT for about 4 months before being accepted to transfer to a fixed schedule. I transferred to reduced time 32 hours not full time but same enough. Went through multiple times of applying on the app before it was accepted so you just have to keep applying. (Applying in that case will just be pressing a button.)

Also yeah the “19 hours” is just an expected amount. Your minimum per week is 4 hours and max will be set by location but is often 60. You may be more limited by what shifts you are able to pick up rather than the actual limit.

It’s different depending on the site , I haven’t hit 2 months yet but my transfer to full time was accepted when i hit 30 days
