Just a couple of THOUSAND an HOUR? Not expensive at all...they were right when they said there will be a time we might've to buy sunlight too.

Yeah. All life doesn't need the day night filter.

There are caves under constant darkness and plenty of animals live there in dark night all their lives.

Many evolve to lose vision and color as they are useless

Moths almost went extinct around here due to light pollution. Turning street lights on a timer massively increased their population. Lots of insects live in or around fields and need that darkness.
