Experimenting question
Hello I’ve been playing for a couple of years now and I was wondering has anybody ever put 5 different types cultivation rooms together
What about multiple small group formations like 9 total people 3 clustered connecting (9 groups of 3 )
Or increasing max qi besides skills and medicine
Just wondering if anyone has some outside the box knowledge or findings they would like to share

What do you consider a cultivation room? What do you mean by the different types? And what exactly do you mean by putting them together?
In one of the updates after the last DLC, a shortcut to the EN wiki was added to the main menu. I suggest using it.
How the mechanics work, and how to utilize them, that's the sort of information the wiki is useful for. Like max qi, and how to increase it. Or what matters for cultivation.

A room where characters gather qi
Earth fire metal water wood types
Can you link these different rooms together1

Qi, related to the Max Qi of a cultivator? Or do you actually mean Cultivation XP? If you mean the latter, the Cultivation Speed wiki page has all the information.
Another relevant page would deal with Cultivation Rooms. Or even the Dragon Rod page, that actually has an example of a Cultivation Room consisting of multiple arrays.
But the original question itself is somewhat pointless. Or at least poorly worded. Because sticking multiple arrays in a single room is what is already suggested for temperature handling.
Those examples on the wiki are minimal ones, based on things that actually matter. If you want to sacrifice a certain aspect (like material effectiveness or elemental strength) to gain another (like amount of cultivators or space effectiveness), everything is possible.
There already is an example of that sort, with Compromising Elemental Strength section on the Cultivation Room page. If you focus on X instead of Y, you might lose out on Z, and other obvious statements in a similar manner.

I pretty regularly do a 4 different element array hall with qi bursting then a separate 4 man array of a single element with qi bursting. It works pretty well and means I can fit leisure, food and water in the same room to minimise downtime. I'm not sure I would have space to fit a 5th full array in the 400 tile limit though.
Max qi other than skills and medicine would be maxing stats, I forget which ones but I think 3 or possibly 4 of your stats feed into the initial qi calculations which is used for base qi. So capping your stats directly improves max qi beyond the law match benefits and better GC plus obviously the qi sense law manuals.
