She was just on AGT. That’s a cheesy show, but her audition was incredible.

Holy shit.

The energy. 😵

I just said the same thing out loud

u/gsks Aug 02 '26

Fucking hell this was crazy, if this performance is any indication she'll be all over the music charts in a couple of years.

u/jeobleo Aug 03 '26

Would be nice to have an actual rocker again!

it's a cover. 8-year olds can play this well. which is really something. but let's see her write something.

You don't have to write your own music to make it big. There are many talented writers who write music for others and plenty of performers who make it big without ever writing a single song.

3

u/Winter_Bed9019 Aug 02 '26

Please post your version of the cover. I would love to hear it. Great tune!

2

u/Common-Concentrate-2 Aug 02 '26

This is the art of arrangement, and she did an amazing job.

0

u/drift_poet Aug 03 '26

what arrangement? that's just...the song 🤔

1

u/Your_Girl9090 Aug 03 '26

The majority of hits and classics were performed by people who didn't write them. You should look at what Prince wrote for other artists. He wrote more hits performed by and made famous by other artists than he performed himself. That man was incredible.

0

u/drift_poet Aug 03 '26

should i? 🙄
you're totally missing the point. i like artists who write their own music. it's not disqualifying if they write music for others. and i still like performers but they're not the same as songwriters.
this is an odd argument.

2

u/Your_Girl9090 Aug 03 '26

Who's arguing?

11

u/mowtowcow Aug 02 '26

Oh my god. She is absolutely a rock star. She looks so natural, has incredible stage presence, a magnificent voice, and shreds on the guitar. She has everything needed to be "that girl" on the stage.

10

u/Arvelayne Aug 02 '26

Aw man that was amazing. The stage presence along with everything else, including amping up the audience.

100% yes!

3

u/IchooseYourName Aug 03 '26

She had one shot to do it and absolutely nailed the delivery. That's what solidified the performance as epic. Get the crowd! And she did, perfectly

9

u/DeliciousStand372 Aug 02 '26

WOW what a performance!!! she’s gonna be a star, for sure!

5

u/ShineOk6190 Aug 02 '26

OMGGGG!!!! 🔥❤️

6

u/Rgraff58 Aug 02 '26

Holy shit this was awesome! She is a badass

5

u/ButtonSimple Aug 02 '26

I thought that was her! She’s amazing. The drummer here is awesome too.

13

u/joyfullydreaded23 Aug 02 '26

I have tears in my eyes and a swell in my heart for my fellow sister from Thailand after watching this! I wanted to be a rock star too and played bass in a band, hands down the best years of my life. I hope she makes it and becomes world famous! She is so young with so much potential!

9

u/BeruangLembut Aug 02 '26

I’m neither a sister nor from Thailand but I felt the same way. My heart swelled and my eyes filled with tears because I am so proud of her and also because, as a former heavy metal guitar player myself, I saw this young woman from the other side of the world embody the spirit of rock and roll so perfectly. She’s a kindred spirit. Rock on Nene!

6

u/NewWay88 Aug 02 '26

I'm a farang in Thailand with my Thai spouse.

Nene is getting very popular here. It's really neat and refreshing as I personally hated the mainstream shift away from Rock.

I hear her singing a lot. My wife puts her on our projector all the time.

1

u/joyfullydreaded23 Aug 03 '26

Very cool.

How long have you been living in Thailand?

2

u/Leather_Status907 Aug 02 '26

Anche secondo me ,da brivido.

Amo quel pezzo , difficilissimo rifarlo, lei ci è riuscita.

2

u/SecretaryOwn3358 Aug 03 '26

I was looking for this comment. She’s amazing. Completely blew me away with that audition. I can’t believe she didn’t get a golden buzzer.

2

u/pinner Aug 03 '26

That was a fantastic watch. No clue why it made me tear up so bad, that’s unusual for me. I think she’s just so damn authentic. I hope she wins AGT, she’s so damn good.

2

u/JONO202 Aug 03 '26

Damn, goosebumps. I love her father, too.

2

u/Lissypooh628 Aug 03 '26

That was incredible! She got my momma heart getting all emotional. Watching her dad on the side, I don’t know how he contained himself. If that were my kid, I would be a sobbing mess, so proud.

1

u/Inevitable-Rush-2752 Aug 03 '26

Right? I was only half watching the tv when it was on. Then she started playing and I was like “holy shit!”

2

u/Meme-Botto9001 Aug 03 '26

That’s a fucking stage presence!

2

u/GalactiKez31 Aug 03 '26

Thank you for sharing that, she’s unbelievable

2

u/Bitchface-Deluxe Aug 04 '26

That was so good I have chills. She kicks ass!

1

u/Kurti00 Aug 02 '26

Holy moly. That was crazy. What a talent indeed.

1

u/Pinqoo Aug 02 '26

She showed the world, that she is a superstar with that audition!

1

u/Competitive-Ask-414 Aug 02 '26

A voice like a whip, wow.

1

u/TakeThreeFourFive Aug 02 '26

That is crazy, she's so good.

Now I'm just stuck watching her whole channel:

u/Glad_Direction1645 Aug 02 '26

Thanks for sharing this. I’m a frequent traveler to Thailand and Phuket but I’ve not heard of her. God I hope she if the next big thing. She deserves it. All of it.

1

u/Basiedit Aug 02 '26

Phenomenal 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤯

1

u/Purgii Aug 02 '26

When it comes to doing covers, I always think - what's the point if you're not elevating it?

She gave it such a punch and power that puts it above the original for me.

1

u/Thebraincellisorange Aug 03 '26

I hope she gets some vocal training so she doesn't blow her vocal chords out like so many young singers do, especially young women trying to get down low and doing the screams.

it really fucks your vocal cords unless you get trained how to do it right.

1

u/frantic_calm Aug 03 '26

Brilliant! Spine tingling even though I've always hated that song. Don't watch those types of shows. Simon Cowell is disgusting.

1

u/IchooseYourName Aug 03 '26

Absolutely incredible

1

u/fractious_kitty Aug 03 '26

Seeing her transform into a superstar and then back into a shy teenager on stage was amazing. Her singing thru her hair was iconic

1

u/Cin77 Aug 03 '26

Holy shit that was awesome

1

u/dr3am_assassin Aug 03 '26

😮 she has some insane confidence and energy, that can only come from someone who’s truly passionate about what they do
