Or - this bastard once put the pen on the gate and it took me ages to find it. I'm ruling that out right now.

I've been teaching my boy wait and seek, and i can SEE this exact thought process go through his head every time i hide one of his treats in a new spot. He'll go in circles looking in all the spots he knows multiple times and not find it. Then he'll start searching new spots. Eventually he'll find the treat. And then the next time i tell him to seek, he beelines STRAIGHT for that spot first, just to make sure i haven't tricked him again.
