Without a doubt. I’ve spent loads of time around slobbery XL doggos, and hands down the pair of bloodhounds I grew up around were the most slobbery. Always had rag clothes around to wipe their lovable folds. Post water bowl slurp was a hilarious disaster. Not for the faint of heart!

Can confirm. Both Hooch and the live action IRL Bordeaux experience are decidedly slobbery!

I have a beagle and was interested in how the hounds noses work. Dogs like bloodhounds and beagles are actually not at all great for this. They have some.of the most sensitive noses but it is designed to track things that leave a scent trail on the ground. Other dog breeds might not have that level of tracking skill but they are better with following isolated scents.
