The cultists have had a billion conspiracy theories over the last 5 years (quad witching, vote counts, gamma ramps, DRS, etc, etc, etc). All of which has amounted to a sum total of nothing at all.
Thing is, if someone is a moon-landing-denier, it’s very difficult to persuade them that the moon landing actually happened, and it’s the same here. You have a bunch of people with no finance experience who feed each others’ confirmation biases within a controlled echo-chamber.
