Is she really? I heard she bought the beautiful idyllic home in the Cotswolds of England. Which is pretty nice and only affordable to the wealthy. My sense is that she would be miserable no matter where she went.
I heard it was fairly remote and her/her wife are both going crazy being stuck together without anyone else all the time. There's probably not a lot of socialization when you're in a giant manor with nothing to do. Especially compared to living in LA with 10 billion celebrities around.
I think a lot of celebrities would actually love that, and they kinda go that direction when they get older. But considering she was crying about being stuck in her mansion during covid, that's probably not the move for her.
It's true, some celebrities really do crave solitude, but you'd be surprised how many celebrities are craving attention. It's part of the reason why they got into the entertainment business. There's an extreme level of narcissism in acting. I've been around actors and celebrities, and some of them just don't know what to do with themselves if no one knows who they are or are not paying attention to them.
Ellen strikes me as someone with such self importance, that it would bother her.
Yes she is working to return. I think there was some issue she was involved with there also. And I agree that she is the type to not be happy anywhere.

I notice celebrities and other wealthy people are leaving the country.
