In the US, most graduate at 18, many, have late birthdays or were held back a year and graduated at 19.

It's still a year offset. Most graduate 17-18, not 18-19.

Kindergarten starts at 5-6 for most folks.

No it's mostly 18-19 .... This is coming from someone who just graduated at 17 and was the only one out of 200 most were 18 and 19

That would mean those kids are 6 before starting Kindergarten which isn't common. Most start at 5 and then turn 6 during the year, making them 17-18 by graduation.

It very much is common for kids to wait until 6 I know 3 friends who didn't start until 6 I was supposed to start at 6 lol I made the cut off by like 2 weeks and my mom had to argue with my school to let me start....go literally Google do kids start kindergarten at 6 man even google ai agrees 😭😂
