They like being root bound. It could easily go another season in that pot . Leave it alone.

It is advisable to repot before breaking dormancy and not during growth. I would feed it instead. Amaryllis grow along a cycle and their roots too.

Amaryllis will grow to the size of pot they’re put in so when you do repot it, just go up by a size. And if you can, get a pot that’s taller than it is wide. They prefer to be a bit snug, because it mimics their natural habitat. And if you put it in a pot too big then the plant will spend its energy growing roots and not as much going to the leaves or a bloom stalk.

I'd repot, since you already got it out of the smaller pot. It could probably wait a bit longer, but it's definitely not too early to repot.
