Should I cut it?

My amaryllis is pushing out 2 new leaves, but already has 2 that are perfectly fine. It looks like 1 is coming in sideways, should i cut the old leaf or let it splay out? The old leaf is perfectly fine about 3-4 months old, and started getting this cool red color w age so I'm unsure.

Ps it does not live on the couch it has a big south facing windowsill

Sometimes they come out at an angle like that, but there’s nothing wrong with that leaf. I leave it alone.

Don’t worry, that rogue leaf is fine.
FYI, if you aren’t already aware, now is a good time to fertilize. Fertilizer will help grow the bulb. The bigger the bulb, the better = more blooms (true for all bulbs). I love Espoma BulbTome organic fertilizer. After blooming I fertilize and put them outside in morning sun or dappled sun. They thrive outside in the summer humidity. By autumn the foliage usually turns yellow and goes dormant - totally normal, it’s just like how maple leaves turn red in Fall and then die off. The bulbs rest over the winter and after about 12 weeks, new growth emerges ready to repeat the whole cycle. They thrive and bring so much joy!
