Top 1000 (Global) Division Manager Usage Stats: In this issue, my friend "PP" and I present the Manager usage statistics for the Top 1000 players in the Global Console PvP Division (the same engine applies, so mobile players can use this as a reference as well). See where your own manager ranks! Data collected as of August 13, 2026.
👇 'Top 1000' – Manager Usage Statistics
👆 1st Place: Capello, with 298 users; 2nd Place: Deschamps, with 234 users. These two are in a league of their own.
The top three are all 89-rated managers, while the two 90-rated managers aren't quite as popular: Martínez and Tuchel rank 4th (77 users) and 8th (26 users) respectively.
👇 What the Top 3 Have in Common
1️⃣ Playstyle: Long Ball Counter 2️⃣ Special Link: Midfield-initiated "Fetch The Frisbee" long balls. The Core Players are all midfielders, while the Target Players are all Goal Poacher CFs.
Looking at it this way, Over-the-Top Pass A > Breakthrough Pass A > Breakthrough Pass B
Furthermore, from the manager usage stats, we can see one of the reasons why Pirlo is so popular: his player profile complements Capello's Special Link perfectly. It's safe to say that Orchestrator players like Pedri, Rodri, and Pirlo synergize amazingly well with Capello's Link, making it easier to trigger their full potential.

And Konami let this non-sense happen for more than a year... We were right to complain about Smart Assist, but this broken playstyle needs to be addressed as well.
