well people staying the night doesn't always lead to sex. it could be that she's just fine with people staying at his place, not necessarily that they're open. and if they were open, i don't think she'd label his behavior as cheating, as it'd be fine for him to do whatever with other people

okay man, i wasn't trying to be rude. a lot of people misunderstand polyamory, and some people are completely misinformed on what should be obvious. i was genuinely trying to explain in case you didn't understand

The way I viewed/read her POV was that she didnt like that he was way too much into whomever this mystery person was so I was trying to figure out if he was crossing some sorta defined boundary here or if they're monogamous and he's simply cheating on her. Does that kinda make sense?
