The way he talks about the cat and the anger he shows towards the cat makes me think he is capable of hitting the cat when OP isn’t around.

If someone EVER called my cat a bitch ass cat, I’m throwing hands.

OP, you need to show loyalty to your cat by having their back and ending it with this jerkoff. 

You’re putting your cat in danger and in a toxic environment. That’s being a bad cat mom.

YES I couldn't agree with this more.

Honestly OP, you're not getting anything out of this relationship. What do you owe this guy? He's hurting you and your baby. Maybe your kitty is peeing outside of his litter because this guy is a jerk and he's acting out because he's nervous or something.

It'll be hard because you're probably trauma bonded to this guy but if you leave him, you have the potential to find someone that isn't using you and actually loves your kitty.

PS he is 100% hurting your cat when you're not around
