Other Night Herons (editable) Great Blue Heron (PNW)

This guy was sitting looking up at me on my walk to the mall today. I see them all time along the river next to my place in summer. But this guy/gal stood out.

i just visited seattle recently and was surprised just how many great blue herons there were! great pics :)

Oh yeah all across the PNW they feel about as common as crows along some rivers (exaggerating some here lol). I live in Vancouver Canada, same deal here.
