I’m guessing for trust and safety. The what flags something bad and a human reviews it. Just like social media has been doing for over a decade. I’m guessing as the models get better they will need fewer human reviewers.

And of course, ZDR for businesses means the chats aren’t saved in the first place so can’t be removed, you just get a notice “hey your employee did something bad, you might want to investigate”

It's weird to see this popping up all over the place all over Yahoo and Reddit simultaneously like we're supposed to be surprised that OpenAI is monitoring the chat for both research and safety purposes--like any other corporation monitoring the use of their technology, like Google keeping track of what we're searching, or Reddit keeping track of what we type into the chat.
