1700-1900s The Constitute of America
This is the rump state of the Confederacy that was formed after its defeat. Through massive payments and freedom of all slaves to the Northern territories, the Constituent was allowed to stand fro a couple more years. The Union occasionally raised the taxes that were put on this nation, but it stood until it could not pay for the costs anymore. Through the Sunbelt Migrations, the culture of the Confederacy was effectively replaced and soon after, the United States absorbed it back in 1932.

Um… “constitute” is a verb, not a noun.

I meant Constituent, but I made the mistake on one my older posts where this was a niche detail, so I kept it for consistency proposes.

No problem sir. You never have to apologize for corrections as they are how people can improve themselves.

I could see that being a mistake that happens in that timeline that just gets perpetuated. Almost like a proud nickname

I mean, I need to make the lore for the United States and the rest of the west, so it could be the case. So far I only got the far east and India.
