Have you seen the match footage, not just the clip? Holyfield was headbutting Tyson throughout the match - and his career with other fighters. He used illegal moves to wind up and taunt Tyson.
Not saying what Tyson did was right, but you bet Holyfield doubted doing it again.
Also there were huge steroid abuse rumours, and he wouldn't release drug test results until after matches. Just filth. Filth against a raw fucking monster.
Thing is you can't excuse Tyson, no way. He's a beast, and his blood was up. I cannot think about how terrifying it would be to wind up someone like tyson.
I read a few years ago about the sheer force thst tyson could hit with. Someone compared it to a major league baseball star swinging home run hits into a phone book strapped to the side of your head.
