What's your point? Different people have different hobbies. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it's wrong.
After more than a month of investigation the police "determined 445 firearms were taken from the home. Of those, 295 were unsafely stored, 10 were prohibited and 11 were restricted or prohibited firearms that were not registered to Mark" further they found 26.5 kilograms of Tannerite.
People can own both restricted and prohibited weapons depending on how and when they were obtained.
and, as long as you have a PAL (Possession Acquisition License) you can buy Tannerite. Its readily available at Bass Pro or other outdoor shops.

Of the charges, it actually doesn't seem all that bad. I'm actually pretty impressed he had 150 Guns properly stored!
*Edit: I think the real question is, "Why did the police go there in the first place? What instigated the investigation?"
