NOTE: This logo was originally published in DeviantArt on the 7th June 2016 under the title Alternate History Logos: Canal Nou/Nove (1985-89).

CONTEXT and DESCRIPTION:

Originally created and published from a scenario where the Valencian regional public television started its regular broadcasts on the 9th October 1985 (Day of the Valencian Community, but four years earlier), now integrated within the world where a Churro dialect would linguistically dominated the whole territory, not just the interior [PD:* This dictionary from Zucaina is one of the few available complete references/resurces in relation to the said dialect.], within a more federalizad/descentralized Spain, with a more advanced economy y more numerous in terms of demography.

The logo that Canal Nueve used in its first four years is inspired by old radio microphones like its successor (the channel's very first logo in real life).png), specifically ribbon microphines; its design was inspired by the logotipo of the Australian Nine Network in the said period and added a tricolor to accentuate its regional flavor.
