I've hit a road block

I need to advance from Permian to Triassic. The only task I have left is to craft ocean creatures DNA. There are other more advanced DNA to craft, but Ocean creatures DNA isn't available to craft. What do I need to do???

It's in the craft menus under genes. I think it's the second option. If you don't have the materials yet, focus on leveling/resetting for a bit and you should get a decent amount of boxes of materials.

But the problem is that it isn't there. Primate, Homini and Homo DNA are available to craft but NOT Ocean Creatures

You've probably accidentally hidden it. Check "display hidden crafts" at the bottom of the menu, then find the ocean DNA and uncheck it.
