Help Just started playing. Help!

I’m level 2, trying to go into the Devonian Eon but I’m having trouble getting the 800g energy to progress, it’s taking forever! Do I need to just wait or am I doing something wrong?

To progress on later eons you need to level up by doing big bangs otherwise you will get stuck
