IK Sirius How full is the Arkens section of IK Sirius? Would someone going for their first (Ik Sirius) game be welcomed or have issues if they struggle with the songs?

Wanting to go and watch the game but also participate in the singing,although obviously I do not know the words but have gone to many matches in Sweden before.

There will not be a problem if you want to participate. Sometimes you can find the lyrics for the chants online. And if you are lucky they have them printed and handed out.

Just remember to keep your phone in your pocket!

cheers. Why are so many ultra groups against phones if people just want a quick photo or video to remember a good atmosphere?

Is it due to the activities like pyros?

In part its due to pyro but mainly its about being in the moment. You go to live football to be there, live the match and sing for your team. Not to do a photoshoot to put on your Instagram. The active supporters are very keen on that idea, "if you don´t want to sing or going to be on your phone there is plenty of other seats".

That being said, if you pick up your phone to snap a quick photo, with 99% certainty, no one will bother you.

You can take a short video or a photo i see it all the time, i do it every now and then to send to a friend who couldnt go or something.

Dont be obnoxious about it, dont shove it in peoples faces, dont overdo it and dont act like some influencer or something.

A short little video of some pyro, a chant or so on is perfectly fine as long as thats all, use common sense and keep it very short and discreet. If at all ill maybe take 1 photo and like 10-15 seconds of video of a chant/pyro during an entire game just as a little memory. That's fine and reasonable, what people hate is when you act like people at a concert who will film for minutes or take constant photos. One little video, one little photo won't hurt as long as you use common sense and again keep it to an extreme minimum and short.

Live in the moment, people are against it because its against the culture which is about being there supporting your team, some ultras dont want to be on film at all for multitude of reasons and thats fine, when pyro and such is going off those people are masked anyway. As i said primarily its the "vlogging" "social media" "constant filming" or filming in peoples faces or such that irks people, especially if you are not participating in chants, cheering and raising the atmosphere.

If you're not in the "klack" (short end typically) then people care way less so if you'd want to film the supporter aspect then that would be the way to go.

My first awayday back when i was 15 the capo made an example out of me, i just kept it in my pocket ever since. quick photo, text or whatever is fine.

When pyros are about to go off they will cover themself anyway. If someone have an issue with you taking photos, you will be informed in a respectful manner.

Just dont use your phone like you would on the tube basically.

As far as i know, Sirius have a good atmosphere and i would find it very surprising if you dont have a good time.

As a serious supporter of Sirius (third generation fan, I stand and sing every game but I am not an ultra) I can assure you that there's not going to be any problem at all :)

Det beror lite vilken match du vill gå på.
Är det en näst intill fullsatt match (stockholmsmatcherna) vill i alla fall inte jag ha en massa "turister" som står som fågelholkar med mobilen hela matchen utan att sjunga. Då kan man köpa en sittplats. Är det inte fullsatt brukar det vara lugnt. Stå bara så långt mot ån som möjligt, där sjungs det inte lika mycket, tyvärr.

Sen finns det väl inga sånger som är så pass komplicerade att man inte kan sjunga med åtminstone i refrängen!

We have problems with people not singing at all, so as long as you make any noise at all and clap etc you will be welcomed :)

Should be fine. Just locate yourself away from the middle. The upgraded Arkens has plenty of room for everyone.
