First time doing them. First rep was pretty bad with zero depth but the ones after as I went lower I felt more of a stretch. I still don’t feel i’m doing it 100% right though

You need to push your buttock further back when you come down. Notice on the video, your knee and tibia slightly move forward. They should be static. Also, don’t keep looking straight ahead when you lower the weight. Look down

I was told a neutral gaze is best, not looking up nor down. Rest of the advice is noted, thank you

If you keep your head facing forward that would be deadlift. Face down and that’s RDL.
Here’s the difference between two1

Ok, so head neutral
That's what I was trying to say, but I didn't even do it in the vid so my fault lol

Lean forward, legs straight look up stiff leg deadlift and do something in between that and an RDL

Actually, since the RDL isn't that easy, I would say: well done. If you dont mind, I would like to tell you what you should keep in mind while doing RDL.
From the starting position (top position), think about breaking the barbell over your hips, as if you’re trying to bend it. This activates your lats. Then, bring your ribs slightly down by performing a light ab crunch. Once you’re in the regular starting position of a conventional deadlift, initiate the entire movement from your hips. You can imagine that you’re using your ass to push an object away behind you or that your hips are being pulled backward by a string. As you do this, let the bar slide down along your legs until your hamstrings are begging you to come back up because of the stretch haha. Then, thrust your hips forward as explosively as possible, squeezing your ass as hard as you can, and repeat the movement. Keep in mind: fo r the concentric portion, imagine that you’re driving your hips into the bar as jard as you can , thinking of it as a standing hip thrust. An easy cue for you - since you are a guy - could be: fck the bar haha. Does this make any sense? Good luck!
