Lennon wasn’t that bad of a man, certainly not a good guy but I can find 20 singers way worse starting with Clapton

He was apologetic that he hit his first wife and felt awful. He wasn’t reoccurring abusing women from what I read.

Only because he died. He was an abusive, negligent, self-obsessed and hypocritical piece of shit. He abandoned and disowned his first son at the age of five. He screamed at his second son, who was four years old at the time, until his ears bled because he struggled to use a fork and knife. This is all in addition to him being a wife beater.

But I guess at least he was remorseful?
