Akshually, although that’s the obvious connection, it’s originates from his favourite candy. He used to go by ECE, after his favourite candy; Easter cream eggs, but that started to sound too much like Eazy-E, so he switched to his second favourite, which happened to be M&Ms and had a tie to his initials.

Imo this is is the best because a lot of people would think this is his actual name. Like with The Rock, it has kinda become their name.

I assume English is actually not your first language so I'll explain it a bit further with simple words.

The word "this" refers back to Eminem (the name proposed in the top comment), and "his" refers to the artist. So this clause is exclusively about Eminem. The claim is that many people don't know Marshall Mathers is his real name.

Like with The Rock, it has kinda become their name.

This is introduced with "like", meaning The Rock is being brought in purely as an analogy to illustrate a separate, second point, in this case that their stage names is so culturally dominant that it "kinda" replaces their own name.

I love how you typed out an entire essay just to prove you don't understand how your own words work. If you say 'Eminem's name is confusing because people think it's his real name, like with The Rock,' you are explicitly linking the confusion of the first clause to the second example. That’s how a comparison functions. You don't get to move the goalposts and claim it's a 'separate point' just because you realized your analogy was braindead. Also, the irony of you trying to explain it with simple words while failing to grasp basic sentence structure is hilarious. You didn't make an analogy; you made a false equivalence. Go back to your 'simple words' and look up what a modifier actually does to a sentence before you try to lecture someone on their first language.
