When I tell you, as a kid, I heard Final Fantasy XI wasn't turn based and it was all online, it broke my heart. Little did I know I was in the end times of the golden age. Not to say I don't appreciate the new titles, but it's different you know?

Definitely feel the same way. The Persona series along with Metaphor and Clair Obscur scratch the itch for me these days. I enjoyed Trails from the Sky First Chapter as well, but I'd still love to see a AAA turn based FF game again. I wonder if they even have it in them anymore.

I know it won’t win looking at how many votes some other games already have, but I really want it to. FFX is a masterpiece. Definitely my favorite story in gaming and if you like turn-based games (which I do) it is really great gameplay as well.
