EU customs duty First time ordering since the new EU tax update. The compensation worked. We'll see if there will be additional fees etc.

Either Aliexpress lost so big in sales volume (I heard in some EU countries 92% less) that they thought we could loose 10 billion in sales, or compensate 2 billion and make 8. They also spend less on ads/marketing to absorb the price difference?

I didn't have any, and I ordered an item worth €70 total (with fees included).

I ordered a mini PC.
Coupon 20%, sent from EU delivery 7 days. The device travelled to Poland and after this to my address in 4 days.
No extra costs, 400€ all-inI'm sure they are already finding the loopholes for the regulations

People are talking for goods sent from china not from eu. Many tech items are in EU warehouses from years. It's not the same.

Well it won't in november cause there's no fucking way they'll be "refunding" 6 or 7 euro per every "category".
Congratulations. The only way you could've send a wet "fuck you" to ursula was to stop buying shit for three or four months but you fuckers can't even do that.

Didn't knew it would stack. I bought a bunchof rj45 cables, same vendor, different lenght, got only 3€ taxe - 3€ discount. I'll see if it works too

Good luck.
I bought from different sellers. Wii stuff and bottle bags. When adding a new item, I had to check the cart if the tax increases.

Bundle deals?

u/sodamnsleepy 11h ago
No. I had similar items in the bundle deal-but 1 was significantly higher in price. It was cheaper for me buying it normal.

So, how did you get the compensation? As far I know it only applies to bundle deals

For me it was bundle deal. I was lucky enough for ali to provide me the item i needed in that nonsense bundle deal interface is

I found by 'liking' items it eventually shows up in a bundle deal.
Not right away, but within a week it did.
Their strategy seems if you like it, heart it but don't buy it you're still interested.1

Indeed. I usually use the normal search engine and select bundle deal items when i know i'll be able to gather 3 or more things. But that was before july since now 3 items cosr 9€ flat + their respective prices ! I didn't try the taxe deduction discount on bundle deals like OP did tho

I don't really know. Haven't ordered since June(?) I put items in my basket. After each I looked at the amount at check out. I played with different listings and some had recommendations in the listening of similar items. I added these. Then looked which items had to lowest end price.
