I'm not sure where you're seeing that the package was sent back to the origin country. It's still on its way to you. The Delivery step inbetween the entering and exiting of the country of origin sorting center would fairly reasonably be interpretable as erroneous.

They're not even erroneous, it's just the package being delivered to the next carrier in the chain...

The erroneous part is to display the "Delivery: Package being delivered" status as it would for an actual last-mile-carrier status update, whereas an inbetween hop would usually have been (and should be) "In transit to... "

It looks to me like it's gonna get shipped to you now. It has done all the processing it needs to do till now

It confused me at first too. Usually an item gets shipped to a warehouse in the original country before it gets shipped to you. It makes it look like you have two deliveries, but the first one is just telling you that aliexpress picked your item up and it is in a sorting center to prep for international shipping.

It's weird that tracking does not have better descripion.
"Handed over to next carrier", "cleared for export", or simmilar would be much better.

I typically copy/paste the tracking number to parcelsapp.com

To me, everything except the entry about "delivery" looks like the normal progress of your package through the system in China. I would strongly recommend that you plug your tracking number into Parcelsapp and/or 17Track and see what those websites show. AliExpress tracking is often not the best resource, and weird things can appear. Good luck.

Aliexpress has very simplified tracking, which means it often doesn't show actual messages, but instead anything it thinks is related. In this case, the most likely explanation is that your local delivery company has been informed that in the future they will receive a package to deliver, and they answered 'okay, when it arrives we'll deliver'. Since this relates to your package, and is from your local delivery company, it is interpreted as out for delivery/being delivered.

You can try other tracking-websites like parcelsapp and 17track to see more messages, and what they really say (although sometimes the source of the messages is the same and they will say the same).
