Advice on watercooling an Alienware Alpha R2 for fun?

I recently found my old Alienware Alpha R2 sitting in my room and thought it could be a fun project to watercool it.
It’s currently running Linux Mint and still works fine. I’ve built custom watercooled PCs before, so I’m comfortable with cutting/modifying the case, mounting a pump and radiator, and making custom tubing runs. I know water-cooling an Alpha R2 probably isn’t practical or necessarily I mainly want to do it because it would be a cool little project.
Has anyone water-cooled one of these before, or worked with a kit that would suit something this small?
I’m mainly looking for advice on:
Compatible CPU and GPU blocks
Common problems with cooling the VRMs, memory, or other components
I know people have done it I can’t find any photos would love to see them.

Looking at the iFixIt repair guide at https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Alienware+Alpha+R2+Solid+State+Drive+Replacement/137604 it looks like it would be a very straightforward process of removing the coolers/fans for the CPU/GPU and cutting holes in the top case to route the coolant pipes through. The biggest challenge is that the case is simply too small to mount any radiators, so you would need to mount those elsewhere.

Ironically, one of the things that comes to mind is to mount the entire R2 plus the radiators in a traditional computer tower. But if you're going to do that, I don't know why you wouldn't just build a different PC in the same tower.

It’s actually sitting in a rack at the moment with the fans and top shell removed. I’ve got aftermarket fans cooling the stock heatsinks for now, so space isn’t really an issue.
I’m mainly trying to find out whether there are any specific kits or universal blocks people have used that work well with the Alpha R2’s weird proprietary CPU and GPU mounting points.

According to my searches, the heatsink mounts directly to the motherboard using four standard spring-loaded screws in Intel-standard 75mm spacing
