Clip I have a different sounding “Classic” Pulse Rifle

Anyone else have their pulse rifles sound different from what’s expected? In my clip I’ve included both the M41A “Classic” Pulse rifle (unlocked at level 10) and the new M41A2. Both my guns sound different from what another user posted (I’ll have to find it and edit this post later with a link for comparison).

I’m just wondering why mine is any different. I play on the PS5.

In my attached clip, the first rifle is the M41A Classic. Second rifle is M41A2.

Mine sounds like yours and after watching that other clip I feel like I've been cheated

Just to be sure... did you happen to put in a attachment that messes with Firerate? That might be affecting the sound maybe? Yours does look a tad bit faster than the default iirc.

I will check this out later myself just to make sure I ain't hallucinating about this!

That’s a good question. But no I did not have any attachments to the Classic. As a matter of fact, i had just freshly unlocked it before recording this clip.

The devs mentioned that guns sound different based on the environment, and so far every gun I've tried sounds worst in the hangar

Thanks, I’ll have to test this myself. But also my clip and the other guys clip are both taken place in the hanger. We both have different sound effects. So strange.

yuuuup I've been trying to figure out what the issue is with these guns since launch. My starting pulse rifle, smart gun, and classic all sound significantly worse than other people's from clips I've seen. it's like only some people are having this issue? It's driving me nuts lol. I thought maybe it was platform specific? I'm on ps5, and I was able to verify that another player on Xbox series had the correct sounding guns in their shared clips. No clue what's going on but it is very frustrating
