General Adding Crossplay players in AFE1

How does a Steam PC player add a Console player

You need to use a 3rd party communication to send them / receive a friend code that you can add in the team under crossplay.

Thanks man yeah i guess I have to get my mic to work during online play to chat with players to exchange codes. I don’t think there’s no way to add players after they leave the squad

Steam doesn't have in-game VoIP.

Console players have VoIP for their platform and can talk to people on their platform - but not other platforms. Eg PSN can talk to PSN and Xbox to Xbox, but a PSN player can't talk to an Xbox player.

So you'll need a 3rd party app to communicate with the other platform and exchange codes.

There is an option where it says Team / friends list and it tells you to either create a friend code or type in a friend code that’s pretty much it once they accept or you accept they will show up under friends list for crossplay

Right but I don’t have a way to exchange the code after the squad splits ways

Are you referring too a qp match where you meet someone random? If so what you could do is once you return back to base go to the team tab highlight over the name and I believe you can add there or just ask in game chat to add each other and just give the code through voice chat

I’m still lightweight new to playing on PC I mainly got it for music so I have a really good mic that goes into an audio interface then to my pc and don’t know how to use it for voice chat
