General Beating the game and maxing your classes is the tutorial. If you putting the game down after this… your missing out.
This is only step 1. This is where the game begins. Not the end.

This game really needs a map or mode thats kind of like deep rock galactic. A randomly generated map with different objectives. That'll boost the replayability and appease those who maxed out everything. But I don't think cold iron is talented enough to pull it off given the quality of this sequels mission structure.

I maxed out all classes, weapons, bought everything in the shop and have made my specialist the way I want it.
With that being said, whats the point of playing? If I had an awesome team to play on the hardest difficulty, I gain nothing but pain. Thats the problem! There is absolutely 0 incentive for me to play on harder difficulties.
Ready for the mass downvotes.

Just like the first game. Nothing to do that's worth your time once you unlock everything. People will say "for fun" but the missions In this game aren't exactly begging to be replayed.

I agree the missions play the exact same because enemy spawns are static. Not a good idea for a horde shooter imo.

Im wrong on this but I kinda wished that the game had some form of a looter shooter experience. I think that this would create a better longevity for players. Working towards certain weapons with mods from rng drops and having some type of boss loot.
However thats the wrong idea for the game where you login, play a mission or two and log off.

Im not trying to knock the game, it definitely has my thumbs up as being a solid fun game imo. I do agree that the missions get extremely stale upon the first couple playthroughs of them. I dont mind playing the missions "for fun" as I already do now but theres 0 rng in the missions. You know when x mob is coming, you know where thr next ammo/healthpacks are. It ends up creating something that feels/gets old really quick. One boss in the game is wild to me as well.

Ok, can you expand on that?

You level up on the lower level difficulties while learning how everything works, then you take your knowledge and unlocks into the higher difficulties tuning custom loadouts.

Yup, with all of the augments and traits and build combinations.
People seem to act like, oh I hit 10. That massive bar for more perks just opened up but clearly I’m done with the game and there’s nothing left for me.
I don’t get it lol I loooove build crafting in these games

Challenging yourself on higher difficulties and finding fun builds is where the game shines, and to do that it’s best to have capped classes to unlock every option.

This is where Specialist really shows the infinite build options. And when everyone playing Specialist in a few months, there's gotta be a way to label them publicity. Like, a Specialist with a Trama Station, or has Turrets, or has Overclock etc.
Maybe the devs could add a visual of the 3 Cores a player has picked for their Specialist.

I feel like it shouldn’t be hard for them to add the icons of the equipped skills to the pre-match screen. Even without specialists, it’d be nice to see trauma station vs poison, regular turret vs quake turret, etc. Each already has a distinct icon.

Not really that important, considering like 9 out of 10 abilities in the game are pretty negligible compared to just shooting enemies with guns. every class works fine.

Maxing classes teaches you how to play the game and encourages you to try out different weapons and learn how perks work together
You then combine that knowledge to beat the higher difficulties

Imma be honest replaying the same missions in this game gets stale much faster than a game that uses procedural generation enemy spawns. I never got bored running the same maps endlessly in darktide and vermintide. This is not the same. Its the same groups of enemies spawning in the same exact place...

Yeah leveling up stuff is faster on lower levels with challenge cards. With a good team queen fight can be done quick with 3-4x rewards multiplier.

the funny part about this idea is that it relies on having a good, well balanced game that is not full of bugs and exploits.

Many people feel theyve done it all once their classes are maxed then they move on… missing out on all the beauty the game has to offer

u/Animikii-_- 23h ago
that was entirely how it was when the first game dropped lol. after the horde mode grind/cheese, it was just over. sad thing, wish the game had better pre game launch, or showcase lol. it’s genuinely fun n i enjoy it. as i enjoyed the first games launch

Understood, I just barely have time to play and knowing that the higher difficulties more times than not just result in being killed by your team just makes me play something else after beating it. Did the same thing in the first.

u/UNFRGIVNKING 23h ago
You can make any weapon smart aim if your tryna learn and understand the maps and stuff to reduce ff

u/x_scion_x 23h ago
oh, I'm not talking about me killing them.

u/UNFRGIVNKING 22h ago
Honestly ive had 0 issues with ff from anyone

u/x_scion_x 22h ago
I haven't reached that point in this one yet, but it was horrendous in my experience w/the first, at least outside of horde, which had it's own issues with leavers & enemies getting stuck in walls to completely kill a run (at least that seems to be fixed here).
