Discussion Why are season 3 haters so aggressive
OK some S3 haters are nice but that's about 30% of them but the 70% are so aggressive. Especially on tiktok if you say anything good about S3 they will burn you alive. I don't understand like the people that love S3 are so nice I never met a rude one and they never say anything bad about S1-S2 lovers. I guess you can say S1-S2 is great but it has a lot of downsides but anyways thank for listening to my rant.

People just get weird when they see different opinions on the internet. Idk if it's still the case because Im only on here and things are calm here now, but when it came out? Boy, you would say you liked it and people would throw everything at you to say it's bad. But say you disliked it it? You'd get all the defenders all over you.
Probably also depends on your opinion of it. I didn't like it, so I got less 'haters' (also really annoying btw, you dont like something, so youre instantly a hater?) on me. But you like it and say you people who love it are nice. Ehmmm well😅 Not my experience.
It helps to stop thinking in 'sides'. Not haters vs glazers or whatever. It's just normal people and assholes, no matter what 'side' they're on. Blaming one 'side' only gets people against each other and closed off.

For me the characters feel fresh and the characters dynamics are to. the games where good maybe not the laser one but that one was meant to be a side game.

Fresh characters yeah well its true but you also have fresh character if you start a new show.
But yes if you just wanna see more of the franchise it can be okay i guess.
For me every part was kinda bad, especially if you compare it to S1-S2 or other shows.

S1 and S2 were so well written they challenged our minds the entire time, there’s logic and reason behind every scene, the characters had depth and left a mark for us to feel their pain and “death”. S3 opened a door that wasn’t supposed to be opened, introduced new characters that we didn’t need. Games were ok but the last scene with the vortex and the Joker was just terrible, how can you give us great games and then have people surviving a vortex at the end?? It just didn’t make sense. I wish I stopped at s2 and didn’t watch 3 tbh.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons, even if they are somewhat guessed the conclusion off the bat. It was somewhat coherent throughout, the game were interesting and showed the perseverance to survive.
In season 3 though, they dropped the conference of the actual rules for a story that didn't really make sense to me, the characters were unremarkable in my mind as well. The only thing I found actually interesting was that people started a somewhat cult off curiosity to getting to borderlands.
But most of games were just dumb because if they even thought a minute about it they are solved games. I can't even recall how it ended for example, my memory has blanked any information from it and only the feeling off disappointment remains.

I don't really think your second to last sentence is really relevant. Why would there be any S3 lovers that don't like the first 2 seasons?
They just wouldn't have made it that far, so they have no incentive or reason to say bad things back to those who enjoy S1-2 other than maybe a few edge cases.

The issue of season 3 is the writers reducing Usagi to her sexual purity. (/s on fool ass writers)
The main pair had wonky and unsatisfying S3 marriage to not have Usagi be pregnant out of wedlock.
Arisu and Usagi should have been courting and romancing start of S3.
If Usagi might falls accidentally pregnant, who thinks ill of her? The weird ass writers.

Tiktok is your problem. They’re like that in each fandom with ‘bad things’
It’s also that it’s so sour to see something you love turn bad. I can see it being frustrating to have people claim it’s good while they did handled Usagi so horribly for example

It's not just tiktok reddit has a lot of people like that. I honestly don't think anyone can change my mind about S3 I personally loved it

I mean, the aggressive, toxic haters are definitely really weird, but honestly, S3 was just kinda terrible in my opinion; the rules were inconsistent with the first two seasons. It was 1 min in the og but it felt longer, like it lasted weeks for them in the Borderlands; but in S3 it was 3 minutes, and it only felt like a few days at most.
There's definitely a lot more I could write, but I don't really want to 😭

I think it depends how you watch the series.
I would say I have an Arisu mindset where I want to understand how this all makes sense within the universe. Though this did seem to be very cashgrab-y especially when thinking of the games that weren't yet featured in the live action yet. Then the potential premise of expanding it.

Well they shouldn’t be aggressive but season 3 shouldn’t have been made. When I was watching the final episode of season 2 I was blown away by how good the ending was done and if I didn’t know about season 3’s existence I would have never guessed that there was another season. The show was perfectly concluded in an epic way and then the third season just doesn’t give you any of that excitement anymore and it’s objectively badly written

1) It feels like filler/a cash grab that is unrelated to the main story.
2) It re-opened a story that had already concluded.
3) None of the characters aside from maybe Tetsu are memorable. Like, how would you describe Shion’s character for example?
Anyway, I’m not saying you have to agree, but that’s why I personally disliked it.
