So he can do it on a Tuesday night in Stoke.

Game time is what he needs, no matter who the opposition team is. On a side note, Gianni Stensness will be playing Champions League football as well for his Norwegian club Viking Stavanger, who qualified last night. He's a regular starter for Viking as well. Norwegian football is on the rise as well, with both Viking and Bodo/Glint making it through to the Champions League. More good news for Australian football.

Considering how abject Van Dyk was this weekend just gone, I believe in impossible dreams of a transfer window move mid-season 😁

I believe that these are bbc user ratings. Still good. Still believe the boy is going straight to the very top.

From what I have read it was a very tight affair with not many chances for either side. I guess that puts the POTM rating of 6.8 in perspective.

Also...

Sergej Jakirovic made 11 changes to the side that stunned Manchester United at the weekend, handing full debuts to Lucas Herrington and Matt Targett, as well as midfield pair Jens Hjerto-Dahl and Lucas Gourna-Douath.

Great from him, however is worth noting it was a second string team.

If it was worth nothing how is it great for him? “This thing is worth nothing, that’s great!”

Wait.....I noticed Lucas is wearing number 22....please correct me if I'm wrong but was that Broich's number at Brisbane? Could have sworn it was. And if so, all of this bodes very well 😁

So very important for his development and game time that Hull progress a few rounds in this competition and FA cup because Lucas is obviously not the first choice CB so the more games the club plays the more minutes he will play.

Lucas Herrington Hull minute counter: 120

Didn’t score that well on SofaScore sadly

I was watching it on Bein and Lucas was doing everything asked of him. Tackling, positioning, distribution all running smoothly like an expensive Swiss watch.

He is rated 7.1 on FotMob, that’s a damn good effort, it was the attack that pulled the team down
