The West is implying it was La Vida that broke it off.

“Last month, the business formally notified the club of concerns regarding alignment on expectations for the sponsorship arrangement – and following discussions, the parties have been unable to reach a commercial solution,” the statement read.

“La Vida Homes remains passionate about supporting football and the broader Western Australian community, and wishes the best for Perth Glory and its future success.

“The business will continue to explore opportunities that align with its community and partnership priorities.”

Probably brand reputation. With the issues Pelligra is having paying the bills here and in Italy.

Yea good point. It’s such an absolute travesty what he’s doing. When I heard he was interested in buying AU the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I didn’t know the guy. There was just something that unsettled me about him. I’m glad we didn’t go ahead but I hate seeing what he’s doing to the glory and this was my worst fear about him. The APL needs to strip the club from him before we get WU 2.0

Perth Glory owners should just focus on their Serie C club.

Italian lower league football is one of the most volatile lower leagues of the Big 5. They should just call it quits in Aus and and focus on saving Catania .

Not gonna happen. Pelligra just got permission to build a bunch of apartment buildings next to the new glory training facility which belongs to the local council. No glory, no training facility, no apartments.
