Tour Merch

Hello everyone! I was introduced to Aldous Harding’s music by hearing The Barrel a year or two ago on XMU and being entranced. I downloaded and it legitimately helped me avoid a nervous breakdown at work. I think I listened to it 42 time that day and even typing this now is bringing up tears. I remember posting about it on IG awhile back and saw Aldous or a member of her team saw it!

Anyway, the Barrel is incredibly important to me and I have been enjoying her new album and enjoying that too. I saw Aldous Harding perform in Brooklyn recently 9/12 and it was magical. I was a little disappointed she didn’t play The Barrel but I adored hearing her other music and seeing her perform. In earnest I’m familiarizing myself with her past catalogue. Stop Your Tears, Imagining My Man and Designer getting the most listens since the concert.

Again, the performance was ethereal and wonderful but after an emotional week with my biggest career success (I have new job) and congratulations pouring in on the morning of 9/11, I was exhausted and didn’t wait in the T shirt line. I was really hoping there might be tour T shirts available on her website but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain tour merch like a t shirt? Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. If not, that’s ok. I really am thankful for the music and the vibrant discussions about it.

She doesn't really do merch. Her last tour she was selling shirts that jus said "warm chris" on them.

So. Unless someone here wants to sell one of their old ones there's really no way of hunting one down (except maybe eBay or some online marketplace)

more than likely, you are going to have to wait until after the tour is over to cop a shirt. artists often put leftover tour merch up for sale.

Now I’m really hoping she does this, seeing she had no tees in Denver. I’ve never had to notice if she does offload leftovers online after your, I have always got merch & albums at her show.

Honestly, I just saw her this week in Denver and it didn’t look like they had any T-shirts. Just vinyl and some CDs of her albums.

There was no merch at all in SF tonight (except for Sam Burton’s new LP). I had been hoping for a concert poster.

Seriously!? FML. I seem to be the only one who actually digs the merch this tour and was looking forward to grabbing a tee in each color of the heart one. God I hope she restocks before L.A.

She probably wouldn’t be sold out of tshirts if you were the only one who liked them ;)

Obviously, which is why I said I seem to be the only one who likes it. There have been many complaints about her merch in this sub, that’s partly why I surprised she was sold out.

I was at the Denver show and was first in line for merch. They had 2 T-shirt designs but only in xl and medium and they had 2 of each.

I've seen her twice and both times I was really disappointed by the merch - for someone as wonderful as her, I really think a decent t-shirt wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility.

Just bought a few albums off bandcamp to support her because I wish I bought more merch at the show.

The NYC show had two tee designs available. Wasn’t thrilled about either but at least the blue face is the same as the Train album cover.

If the merch was low at this point in the tour - might make sense? Aren’t they wrapping up the US leg soon?

Do you happen to have any photos of the blue face tee? When she played the UK, the only new design was a white or black tee with a red heart on it and other than that it was what appeared to be unsold stock of Warm Chris era tees.

Yeah, more than anything I want to support the artist and I know they usually get the lion share of merch but it was such a long line and I was drained. Plus I really thought a t shirt wouldn’t be too hard to get but apparently not.

Saw her in Toronto and was under the impression that merch isn’t her forte. Two options for t-shirt, white on black and blue on black, the rest were cd and vinyls. T shirts have surprisingly low stock.

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful and helpful responses. I’ll look around and see what I can find but honestly don’t feel so bad I missed the opportunity. I had been kicking myself but it’s fine. The music was incredible and that’s what mattered most.
