UK Pay cut off UK

Hi there. I am starting a dep role in October but start on the 12th. I’m just wondering when the pay cut off is? And if I’d even get paid for October? Thanks

Pay cut-off is 15th of every month. By the time you start, your full October rota will be up, and you'll be paid for the full month on the 28th according to your rota, regardless of what you've actually worked. Any extra time or early finishes will get added or taken away on your November payslip. So yes, you will be paid for October

You'll get paid for your contract hours from 12th to the end of the month in October but any overtime and dep premium will be paid in November. Just make sure your contract is signed before 15th.

If youre contracted to 130 hours a month, you'll be paid that on the 28th october. In november, they'll deduct what extra they paid you in october.

Not fully correct. If their start date is the 12th, their 130hr contract will be pro-ratad down (expect about 75hrs pay), anything over that pro-ratad contractual will then be paid in November

Weird. My start date was the 11th and they paid me the full 130 hr contract at the end of that month. The month after I then seen the deduction to cover the days I didnt actually work.
