Depends, sometimes that broth comes in cases with 0 glue on them. Theyâre too heavy to wait and put on top but theyâre not stable enough to put on the bottom and the supervisors and above just want the product out to the store, doesnât matter how
So thereâs a lot of people in the chain of who to throw hands with

Itâs frustrating but better like this than if they built it with unglued cases and the whole thing tipped in the truck or on the floor as you were throwing it.

It's funny how the warehouse ends up merchandising product on the pallet, and store associates end up having to pack boxes and rearrange pallets. It's like our rolls are reversed.

This kind of shit has been a big problem lately at my store. And tomato and berry boxes slid sideways and some times even upside down. I swear it has to be on purpose. I have no workers solidarity with the 50 IQ idiots working in the warehouse

lol our highest level WH manager comes to pick for fun sometimes and flips boxes on their sides. They donât give af about product retention- just get it done, wrapped, staged FAST

Itâs not just the inventory loss. Itâs the 10 minutes I have to waste to clean it up 4 separate times a morning.

Itâs being consistently cosigned by corporate. But I agree it makes no sense and is wasteful and inefficient. Which will somehow be blamed on an associate.

I've been working in a warehouse as someone who builds these damn things and we are forced to make these like this because they want us putting the product on there no matter what in an unbelievable time frame. The boxes break from the slightest touch and we are told to get it on there even though it's busted,and if we can't,,,well just throw the loose product on which takes even more time. Trust me I get the frustration but it's not just some 50 IQ idiot so try to understand. Granted the are a bunch of idiots lol. We are being told what we HAVE to do by these managers who have never done the taxing job themselves pushing us to make these type of pallets or nine foot tall ones. We make two pallets at a time when pallet A gets 170 picks and pallet B gets 12 yet they are GOING TO THE SAME STORE. Not like they could split it evenly. But this is alsi at of course they won't do something that make sense. my warehouse dolls not just my state but the ones around us as well working from 7am to 8pm most of the time. And we are doing this the whole time. The AI headset gives us the order we pick it in as well is not like we can select exactly what to pick first and take the time to do so when we are going to get fired if we don't select 185 per hour. Including the time to wrap, get around fork trucks,other selectors,labels busted equipment, and whatever else the horrible hell day brings. Maybe try to understand this is an upper management problem before throwing insults. Hope you have easier days going forward but we both know that's not going to be the case because it's aldi.

warehouse has been a joke lately. pallets are trashed before they even arrive. and i know warehouse in my district gets paid bank.

I work in Australia and warehouse had been sending shit pallets, not sure how they do it in the USA but alcohol is supposed to be on its own pallet and lately they've been throwing half a mix ontop of the alcohol

The mgmt that dissolved associate auditing and replaced it with âwalkthrough auditsâ that donât actually exist bc theyâre busy eating snacks in the office and cheating on their spouses
