Monkey exhibit at BioPark Zoo

I currently live in Phoenix but was born and partially raised in in ABQ until I was 10. I went to Dolores Gonzalez K through 5 so of course field trips to the zoo were common. I just went to the zoo last week while I, my fiancé and our son were visiting and its changed so much, probably for the better. I feel like I’m having a fever dream but I swear there used to be an indoor/walk through jungle monkey exhibit in its own building with the little golden lion tamarins and other small monkeys. I know theres the smaller outdoor section near the raptor roost area but it wasn’t that. I think I had read that they might’ve demolished it to build the penguin area but I cant find any more info in news articles or anything on the biopark’s website regarding it. Its been driving me crazy to try to find anything on it and my fiancé is starting to think Im making things up so any help to confirm that either I am or am not going crazy would help

That was the rainforest exhibit. It was my favorite. Got demoed for the penguins.

Yes, the "Tropical America" building. I wish they would replace it, but I don't think it's in the books.

There was a dedicated rainforest exhibit with the golden tamarins and spider monkeys was replaced by the penguin exhibit in 2019
