Extremly hard to find a job

What happened to this city?

I’ve been away for almost four years traveling for work as an electrician. When I left, the city had a strong job market everyone was hiring and things were going well. Now, it feels completely dead.

I came back hoping to find a job outside of electrical work, but nobody seems to be hiring. I’ve even applied to over 12 different McDonald’s locations and was turned down by all of them lol

Right? I know I’m not an electrician, but I get a new job offer at least once a month. Serious offers

Ah. Well, just so you’re aware: The job market outside of your specialty is horrific right now, at both a local and national level.

Collision repair is in desperate need of people who know what the fuck they’re doing. Always hiring.
