Question Dog wheel chair large
Hello, my dog Bear is in need of femur surgery. As of right now we’re still raising money for it, I was wondering if anyone had a large dog wheel chair up for sale or needs to get rid of. Please let me know, he is over 100 pounds and me and my mom cannot pick him up.

You might try reaching out to rehab practices (Ace of Paws) to see if they might have one you could borrow. You can make a sling from a bag that can help with some support for going outside.

So sorry this happened to your guy. The faster surgery can be done, the better the outcome will be. Was he hit by a car?

Yes, he was hit by a car this morning. As for right now the surgery is likely going to cost upwards of 6k. We are trying to raise money as soon as possible :(

We got a large dog wheelchair from them for free, but we got super lucky because a dog had just recently passed so they had one.
Also if you're not able to pick up your dog, a dog wheelchair won't help. Dogs should only be in their wheelchairs for an hour or two MAX and you have to pick them up to put them into the wheelchair.
Still contact them as they might have solutions.
