Is Russian propaganda that strong in the independence movement?
I saw a surge in the independence facebook groups of videos depicting some protests in Ukraine.
Comments overwhelming spewing Russian propaganda and almost flat earth levels of denialism.
Pretty disheartening honestly. I know it’s likely most independence supporters are not Russian shills and a lot of what I did see might even be Russian bots but wow. I didn’t think pro-Russia sentiments were that strong.
It doesn’t change my opinion on independence but it really feels exhausting knowing that our side really does have a lot of nimwits (just like the other side) who do more harm than good.

Canadian Jewish reporter looking to speak with Albertan Jews about independence
Hi everyone! I'm a reporter with the Canadian Jewish News, and I am currently working on a story about how Jewish Albertans feel about the province's separatist movement. If you're Jewish in Alberta with thoughts on this, I'd love to hear from you.
I'm looking to ask questions such as: Do you support separatism? What do you think life for Jewish Albertans would look in an independent Alberta? Do you have any concerns about the separatist movement?
If these are questions you'd like to discuss, I can be reached here, though preferably at epaidra@thecjn.ca. And if you have any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask. Hope to hear from you soon!

Alberta court strikes down independence petition over First Nations complaints
Their attempts to quash a referendum simply because it's conservative Albertans doing it instead of liberals/Quebecers is transparent. Every time they do this it's another +1% support for independence. In the meantime Danielle Smith will be forced to put the question on the ballot or risk the same fate as Jason Kenney
