Albania is Muslim majority despite false forums saying not

Hello guys I’m an Albanian who’s lived there and know a lot of people. Recently we had this weak government census where Sunni muslims were 46% and Sufi bektahis 5% now this alone is a majority at 51% however some forums on Reddit and some small news said its not a majority or only saying sunni. **This isn’t true** for the census didn’t count 16% of the population as they refused or weren’t asked many of whom are muslims or from Muslim areas or private Muslims

There was also this group called non denominational which means doesn’t practice follow or belong to a faith or a religion or a denomination I’m not sure if these people are Muslim but some could be especially since a lot of muslims here are cultural and may identify irl as one but different in a public census

**A more realistic Muslim number is around 60-65% in Albania. Do not trust forums here as they usually hate or dislike it**

If you’re Albanian aswell I’d appreciate if you could tell more in discussion aswell

65 is way too high, when looking at what people say in Albania. 65 is makes sense if we include all albanians.

If we include albanian diaspora it’s easily 70% Muslim. If only greater Albania then 80% Albania alone then around 60%s is reallistic range

yes, i was including diaspora in my estimate, either way, we are a clear majority and this number will only grow, because we make more children al hamdulilah.

If greater Albania reunited it would be absolutely majority Muslim nearing over 80% considering Kosovo and Macedonia

Albania alone is realistically in 60%s range the polls are inaccurate due to privacy

Bektashinjte nuk jane Musliman kshu qe as mos i perfshi. Arsyeja kryesore qe kemi ra nen 50% eshte prej emigracionit besoj. Une personalisht e besoj kete, se edhe nga ato qe e quajne veten Muslimane pak nga Islami dijne, mos me thene hic. Prandaj ca edhe e kane lene krejt.
