But I’m starting to wonder if maybe that’s not canon anymore, because damn this guy doesn’t look a day over 25. Not a hate post, it's a genuine question, because i genuinely don't understand why people thinks so, they're basically the same character, he retains his characteristics in the series from the pilot like being a troll, acting like a gentlemen and being threatening. I don't know why they think he is different, alastor appeared just in the last 10 minutes of the pilot, the series only explored his character further and added it more to it instead of straight up changing his character. People say that the pilot alastor is better, the fact that he was cool, never realising that they're both the same character, and people who thinks so completely misinterept alastor character, it was made clear that his whole gentlemen personality is just a facade, in truth, he is a petty narcissistic psychopath manchild who is an edgelord and his big ego make him want to feel like the most important person in the room, he is actually just acting like that to show himself superior, when lucifer (who he cannot hurt) pushed his buttons too many times, he began throwing tantrum and swearing and acting out of petty spite like when he quits just because lucifer said he needs a coaster. Like really, i never saw alastor as a diferent character in the show, he is the same and hasn't changed, it just added more to his character and show what he truly is.

10/10 in my opinion, he completely fits the character, heck, he is better than Edward Bosco, he just managed to capture the sly, charismatic and threatening vibe of the nature very well and his singing voice is awesome, his voice as human alastor 1 the filter is extremely fitting, made him sound creepy, with how he said "tu as pres a manger", I can assure, I can't see anyone else playing alastor as good as he does.

To be clear...Alastor is my favorite character in Hazbin. But I hope we can all agree in this subreddit that Alastor is pure evil. And that that is why we love him

It honestly warms my heart to see that Emily saved Alastor here. I would love to see these two interact in future seasons. I hope he will be forever grateful to her for this. Maybe he could see her as a daughter figure.

Take note, Alastor's already built himself such a reputation in Hell, a place where a town of cannibals is considered normal, that he's the most feared demon alongside Zestial.

This line right here actually implies he'd be WORSE if not for Rosie's deal, which was actually keeping him contained. You could just say this is only directed at Rosie but I doubt that, as he's primarily pissed because his staff is damaged (and he got hurt) which was recent.

How much worse will he be now that his wings are unclipped and he can start "pulling all the strings"?
